I bought this to set my foundation as something that would not make it appear lighter. This is an issue I sometimes see when using white pressed powders. Usually, this would only be a problem for the first hour or so before my natural oils started coming through. Anyhow this works great. I have normal-oily skin so I do need to touch up once throughout the day. It also photographs beautifully and if used sparingly your skin still looks like skin. One thing I do have to note is that when I purchased it online (the smaller size) I thought the Best Of 1978 70s Mixtape Cassette shirt would fit inside the container but it does not. Still a great product but if you were thinking the same as me, the puff will not inside the container.
I was skeptical of purchasing another powder but I was still looking for the “One”. Well, I have found it. This is the best Best Of 1978 70s Mixtape Cassette shirt I have ever used and I have several. Well, I did because I have thrown them all out since I started using this one. I don’t know how it does it, nor do I care, this powder is everything. Whether I am wearing a BB, foundation or just my moisturizer, this just makes my face look great. Seriously, if you wear makeup, no matter the coverage, you need this setting powder. The description is spot on. I have oily skin and it keeps my oiliness at bay, but you don’t look dry/dusty. It also helps my makeup last significantly longer. By the end of the workday + a workout, my face still looks pretty darn good. Highly recommend.
I keep the full size at home and the Best Of 1978 70s Mixtape Cassette shirt in my bag for light touch-ups. Being a person with combination skin, it’s sometimes hard to find a setting powder that doesn’t make dry spots look worse or combat an oily t-zone well. However, I have been very impressed with this powder. During the times where I occasionally have dry spots, it doesn’t intensify them as some powders do. Also, it can keep my t-zone oil-free for a few hours before having to blot. I’ve even gone a whole 8-12 hours without blotting and it didn’t look bad (foundation used with it was Estée Lauder Double Wear). Overall, it’s a fabulous powder and I would recommend it!
